I found Comfort Heating & Cooling via a recommendation of someone who used to work for them and I'm happy to say I'll be a repeat customer. Both their office admin (Julie) and the tech they sent (Humberto) were very straightforward and clear communicators. My first appointment was for annual service and my second appointment was to resolve a couple of non-urgent issues Humberto spotted on his first inspection. It's clear they focus on repairs where possible. I've experienced other companies in the past that seem to be looking for any excuse to suggest a major replacement or upgrade.
Their pricing is reasonable - not the cheapest, but I'm happy to pay a little more for folks who are reliable, trustworthy and easy to work with.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The two techs that they sent out were personable and efficient. They made sure to check in with me at the end of the install to show me how the system would work and what to expect from it.
But, what impressed me the most was that after the install was complete and the invoice paid I got a request from Comfort to return and take care of some (in their words) "Quality issues". Not I did not see any issues with the install when it was done, but I guess the owner looked at the pictures the techs took and felt some things needed to be addressed. This DID NOT need to be done in my estimation. The owner of Comfort heating came out and fixed things himself. This really impressed me, I had not noticed and had already paid them. These guys TRULY stand behind their work and having the owner return to ensure that my install was 100% correct means that I will 100% recommend them to anyone and will be a loyal customer in the future.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: I originally lowered this review from 5 stars to 3 because of a communication problem during a furnace inspection. I'm happy to say the follow-up experience has changed my opinion back to a positive one.

I've been using these guys for many years and have generally found them fast, thorough, and honest. A few months ago, a technician inspecting my heating system believed he saw small cracks or damage in the burner plate/heat exchanger and disconnected the gas. My frustration at the time was that I didn't clearly understand that the furnace had been disabled, and I didn't discover it until months later when I needed auxiliary heat.
More recently, another technician came out and carefully reexamined the heat exchanger. He did not see the same damage that had been identified previously and took the time to go over the system with me. He's also taking care of some maintenance that the system needs—cleaning the squirrel-cage blower and coils and replacing the condensate pump.
This follow-up visit was much more like the service I've received from this company over the years: thorough, helpful, and communicative. I especially appreciate that they were willing to take another careful look rather than simply relying on the earlier diagnosis.

Companies don't always get every visit perfect. What matters to me is what they do afterward. In this case, they came back, reexamined the issue, explained what they found, and are taking care of the other maintenance the system needs.
