Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER)

An air conditioner’s SEER rating indicates how efficiently it uses energy. The average cooling unit will likely be between 15 and 18. While shopping for air conditioners, you might see SEER2 ratings. These come from an updated method of calculating a system’s efficiency. You will see SEER2 ratings between 13 and 21.
